Founded in 1974 by a group of ballet enthusiasts for the purpose of presenting a playful, entertaining view of traditional, classical ballet in parody form and en travesti, LES BALLETS TROCKADERO DE MONTE CARLO first performed in the late-late shows in Off-Off Broadway lofts. The TROCKS, as the dancers are affectionately known, quickly garnered a major critical essay by Arlene Croce in The New Yorker which, combined with reviews in The New York Times and The Village Voice, established the company as an artistic and popular success.

The Power of Age - Liaison of International Butoh is a 2-day butoh festival which includes performances, exhibiton and conference. The pieces were choreographed by Tatsumi Hijikata, on the dawn of the birth of the butoh dance for Yoshito Ohno, who rearranged it again and again guided by his own experiences.

Compagnie Pál Frenák
This new choreography was inspired by the same memories of Pál Frenák that served as the basis for his early work titled Skateboards. It is as if themes from recent years (relationships, sexuality and gender identity) were taking a back seat now and precedence given to the internal and pulsating states of the single individual and the group, along with the dynamics of the decay and reconstruction of a social existence.
