Serbia is not a typical tourist destination, but if you choose adventure you can discover fantastic places.The first time the exhibiting photographers, Irén Becker and Béla Szabó visited the Tara region was completely by chance. As strangers, they sought out the directorate of the National Park in charge of the region to provide advice and information on what was worth seeing and taking photographs of. The answers were given, the first shots were completed, and thanks to the connection that was established they have enjoyed the hospitality of Tara National Park several times since. Read more...
Solidarity – Gala Evening for the Art of Dance
The Association of Hungarian Dance Artists in collaboration with the National Dance Theatre will stage a performance entitled Solidarity – Gala Evening for the Art of Dance on 4th February in the Main Auditorium of the National Dance Theatre. Premiere: Puccini Le Villi/ The Fairies
János Feledi /Feledi Project
Choreographer János Feledi chose Puccini’s first opera Le Villi (The Fairies) as his first independent theatre piece for which he won over the top guns of dance artists to perform. Feledi looked for a piece which was classical, but timeless and topical at the same time and would touch a wide sphere of dance lovers. The Fairies has its premiere on 28th November in the Main Auditorium of the National Dance Theatre. Read more...

Premiere of Bozsik Yvette Company at Palace of Arts, Festival Theatre
The ballet Orpheus and Eurydice analyses the great issues of life, death, love, perseverance and faith from the angle of the responsibility of the individual. Yvette Bozsik is preparing for a new premiere in the Palace of Arts, and she has dedicated her work to her two heroes Pina Bausch and Mary Wigman, whose life work gave her strength in her own artistic career. The new production of Ballet Pécs was inspired by the music and lifestyle of the Balkans. The performance is characterized by its humour and Balkan passions. The plot is quite easy to follow: a poor village girl is to be married to a stupid rich boy despite her will.
